Judge Appoints Judge: Judge NV Ramana said the assumptions are wrong-increased attacks on the judiciary
It is just a false advertisement that a judge is appointed by a judge, but this is not the complete truth. Many institutions are involved in this process, and the judiciary is only part of it. Judge Ramanna stated this in a program held in Vijayawada on Sunday. Judge Ramanna gave a lecture on Indian justice and future agenda at the 5th Sri Lavu Venkatevarlu Foundation Lecture at the Siddhartha Law School in Vijayawada.
Parliamentarians said it is noteworthy that Kerala state parliamentarian John Brittas recently stated that the issue of the appointment of judges by judges has not been heard anywhere else. He was involved in the debate between the High Court of Parliament and the Supreme Court justices’ salary and amendment bills related to terms of service. According to the Tribune, Judge Ramanna pointed this out in his speech. He said the Ministry of Justice, the state government, the governor, the High Court Collegium, the Intelligence Agency, and top executives are involved in the appointment of judges. He said that despite this, such a perception was created that was preferred by certain sections.
Concerns about increased attacks on the judiciary
Judge Ramanna also expressed concern over the recent increase in attacks on the judiciary. He said the number of such attacks has increased recently. He said the campaign would run against judges on social and print media if people couldn’t get the desired verdict. Judge Ramanna called them patronage. At the same time, he said he should give the judiciary more freedom. He said it should only be the responsibility of the court. During this time, Judge Ramanna also praised the central government for appointing more judges.
Perfume trader’s house raided: The people of the locality who thought that miserly, found crores of cash and gold hidden in the walls of his house
The news of notes and gold and silver spitting from the walls and lands of Piyush’s house left his neighbors teary-eyed. Neighbors say that Piyush, who rides a scooter, is very stingy. Neither did he go to anyone’s wedding nor did he invite anyone home. When he asked for donations, he used to shake it by saying that there was no money. However, in the Jain temple of Kannauj, it has been renovated by spending 40 lakhs silently.
